Callie Simon (she/her/hers)

Executive Director

Callie Simon (she/her) is the Executive Director of SIECUS. She is a global leader with nearly two decades of experience advancing adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights. She has worked to expand equitable access to inclusive, rights-based comprehensive sexuality education for young people across 23 countries.

Callie’s passion for this work began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic, where she led her first sexuality education workshop and witnessed firsthand the transformative power of information and choice.

A people-centered and equity-driven leader, Callie is committed to building diverse, inclusive teams and centering the voices of those most impacted by inequality and discrimination. She has worked closely with the World Health Organization on global guidelines and published widely on adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights and sexuality education. Callie grew up in Florida and holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and a Master of Public Health degree from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.
